Victorian Landcare grants announced

The Victorian Government is supporting Friends groups, Landcare groups and other environmental volunteer groups with over $4.4m funding. Over 240 groups were successful in gaining project grants of up to $20,000 and 269 groups will receive a $500 support grant. Also, over $470,000 will go to support Victorian Junior Landcare & Biodiversity Projects.

Engaging diverse groups in Environmental Volunteering (webinar) – Tuesday 3 October 2pm

Bellarine Catchment Network and Cultura are hosting an online event on 3 October 2023: ‘Engaging diverse groups in Environmental Volunteering’.
The presenters will share a resource guide and training video. These explore practical ways to develop environmental volunteering that is inclusive for all people.

Free Environmental Volunteer Management Forum Thursday 19 October

EVM Grow 2023 will provide an opportunity for Victoria’s Environmental Volunteer Managers (EVMs) to connect, collaborate and learn from leading sector professionals and each other.

This event aims to build a community of practice with a focus on professional development and collaboration.
This is a free, hybrid event.
You must register to attend. Lunch and refreshments provided.

 
$3.5m in new round of Nature Fund closes 6 November

DEECA reports for Environmental Volunteers
