Mills Beach Friends Group May Working Bee

A small but enthusiastic group worked on Red Bluff on Sunday with the raining just holding off until we finished planting and watering 83 plants including:

  • Allocasuarina verticillata
  • Leucopogon parviflorus
  • Acacia paradoxa
  • Correa alba
  • Austrostipa stipoides
  • Dianella brevicaulis
  • Viola hederacea

Most of these were placed in clearings on the Bluff but some were also put in on an area on the cliff side of the top path that was recently cleared of polygala.

We still have a lot of plants to put in near the beach so hopefully we will have a good turnout for our June working bee on Monday June 17.

Thanks to all those who attended.

All ready to start work!
