One of the beautiful beaches in Mornington, Shire Hall Beach, is rapidly eroding. This is not from natural causes. The erosion is caused by the wavescreen on Mornington Pier, which was built to help protect the boats moored in Mornington Harbour during storms.
We want the Mornington Shire Council, Parks Victoria and DELWP to work to restore this once beautiful beach.
