Stratton’s Lane is a well used path between Herbert St and Tanti Ave that provides access across Tanti Creek.
Stones Crossing (where the path crosses the creek) is a particularly picturesque spot but the laneway is rather bare with no garden beds or vegetation.
Tanti Creek Friends with support from Mornington Peninsula Shire and G J Gardner Homes is converting several sections of lawn to plantings of native grasses, herbs and sedges to improve the appearance of the lane.
Mulching has been completed and 577 tubes planted to date.
