This Saturday – Dig into Bandicoot Territory!

From the Red Hill South Landcare Group (13/7/24)…
Dig into Bandicoot Territory!       2.00-3.00pm SATURDAY 20 July 2024

Bandicoots and other small mammals help the environment flourish in many ways. Digging and scratching while foraging for food makes a perfect bed for seeds to germinate, helps break down organic matter and makes places for other organisms to live.

Come and hear from Eilish Roberts, Southern Brown Bandicoot Outreach Officer, Cranbourne Royal Botanic Gardens. She works to help protect this once widespread marsupial and support local communities to create ‘bandicoot-friendly’ suburbs.

Enjoy afternoon tea afterwards (RSVP redhillsouthlg@gmail.com)

2.00-3.00pm SATURDAY 20 July 2024
St Georges Church Hall, Arthurs Seat Road, Red Hill (opposite the Red Hill Recreation Reserve)
