News from Latest Pine Ave Friends working bee

Today was a big success we had the south Mornington preschool help us plant 135 tube plants . The children then used their guards they had decorated to protect their plants . It certainly looked like they were having fun , it was great to see and good to celebrate world tree day with them . We had fun too . We also planted a beautiful river red gum that Jamie from Advance had propagated from the mother tree in his nursery , we have another 2 to plant as well . We had Dan and Aimee from Nature links and Hannah arrived with Cam to look at the frog pond and work out the sort of fencing that will be needed . It was a busy day and apart from a tiny little bit of rain the weather held out for the arrival of the children.

So once again a really big thankyou for all your hard work we have a great team working together that see the vision for the dog park.

The owls were in the tree just outside the gate so they had a great view of all the action today .
