MEA participates in the Seniors Festival with the “Tanti Creek: Walk, Talk and Morning Tea event”
Mornington Environment Association (MEA) is pleased to have contributed to the Seniors Festival with this event led by Tanti Creek Friends. Sixteen sprightly seniors enjoyed a fascinating ramble around the Strattons Lane section of the Tanti Creek Reserve, learning about its history, ecology, and hydrology. Current issues concerning the health of the creek were also discussed. The walk and talk was followed by morning tea on Marty & Jenny Lenard’s deck which afforded magnificent views of the Tanti Creek valley.
