New round of Port Phillip Bay Fund Grants – Close 18 April 2024
Since 2016, the Port Phillip Bay fund has provided more than $13.9 million in grants across 187 projects in and around the Bay. Port Phillip Bay or Narrm-Narrm (or Nairm).
There are two streams of funding available for 2024. Grants are available:
- up to $300,000 for large-scale projects over three years
- up to $25,000 for smaller projects over one year
Who can apply?
- Environmental groups and networks
- Volunteer-based recreational and community groups
- State government agencies and authorities
- Public land committees of management
- Traditional Owners/custodians (RAP and non-RAP)
- Kindergartens, primary and secondary schools
- Research institutes, Local Government and other non-profit organisations
- Private organisations (stream 2 only) if they are part of a consortium led by a different eligible organisation
Applications will close 18 April 2024 at 3pm (AEST).
