Nature is spectacular. People like you and I understand it as a vast network of connected beings that we are one part of.
Others see themselves as separate to nature. They see it as a resource, something to dominate, without balance or consideration. That mindset often leads to perverse outcomes for all of us.
That’s why we’re ever vigilant when places like the Dandenong Ranges National Park are threatened by exploitation. We keep the pressure on because even when nature is protected, it’s not always respected.
Over the last 12 months – with a lot of time, effort and collaboration – we’ve slowed and stopped attempts to disaster log our beloved Dandenongs.
