Some background on the Submission to Frankston Council re the Great Wall of Frankston
In case you aren’t familiar with what has been happening, here is a little background information:
Sonja Kilkenny, the Planning Minister, had imposed an interrim DDO (Design and Development Overlay) on Precinct 4 in the Frankston Metropolitan Activity Centre Plan which limited buildings in this precinct to 3-4 storeys. However this expired at the end of November so that there is now no special consideration given to this precinct which includes Kananook Creek.
The new height limit is now a preferred maximum of 12 storeys!
The deadline for submissions/objections to this amendment is Monday December 18th
